NorCal: OEM+ Audio & JL Audio Sub

These are off my 2019 Tacoma, NON-JBL, Entune II.

OEM+ Audio Reference 500, includes speakers all around, sub and processor.

JL Audio 10" sub.

Asking $1200 for the OEM+, $750 for the JL Audio stealth box.

Located in NorCal.

I feel the same way when I’m window shopping.

 

The funny thing is, I'm still in the return window for my JL Microsub I just got so I would have snapped this up in a heart beat if you were even a few hours away from me lol. Either way, GLWS; I feel like these tend to go pretty quickly.

 

Curious how that JL sub is wired up and powered with or along with the OEM + set up - Powered separately or with the OEM + dedicated sub amp. I have the Reference 500 system with their 8in sub (same as yours) and dedicated sub amp. More bass can't be a bad thing, Interested.

 

JL sub was powered separately with JL amp which was tucked under the passenger seat. I ran an android deck so I rca and tapped in a signal wire for the amp.

oem+ was not enough bass for my liking.

 

Right on, overall I’m very happy with the reference 500. But agreed, I’d be a bit happier it had a touch more bass.
