You mean you don’t enjoy spending $5 on water and $14 on beer?

reminds me, the most expensive disappointing drink I've personally ever purchased in my life was in Vegas at some rooftop bar my ex and I went to 10ish years ago...was something like $65 for a small watered down margarita. Never again

My two friends managed to spend $300 at Margaritaville on the strip, the chips and dip was $30.

yeah people walking all over the strip with them, one of the few (only?) places in the US you can walk around in public intoxicated off your ass and no one will do anything.

Well, unless you're one of the unlucky one out of 100,000 that the cops decide to make an example out of

I was in Vegas in December and I decided to go visit our sister branch’s shop because I wanted to chat with their engineering manager.

He was off that day and there was only one mechanic in the shop. When I flashed my SF badge and said who I was he looked at me like a was a lunatic and kept doing his oil change.

I just can't get on with the idea of spending $200 a ticket or whatever it costs now to be surrounded by that many other people at all times, wait in 2hr+ lines, spending hundreds on food...under the premise of "the happiest place on earth"...yeah, right

Sofia actually said she wanted to go to Disneyland the other day, I quickly tried to redirect her focus to something else. but it's just a matter of time I'm sure.

Because you are a lunatic. That man was trying his best to get through a day at a job he no doubt hates, he doesn't need your "sunshine and butterflies" ass coming in to harass him about busses he'd rather set fire to.

I moved to Vegas in 98 for 2 years. I didn't spend anytime at all on the strip. We spent most of our time at the old Krystal Palace ice rink.

$200 to get a sunburn, $30 worth of hot florida water, and you'll ride two things before they announce they're closing for the day

well, you can buy this fancy $200 "fast pass" so you can wait in a slightly shorter line full of other fools that got suckered into buying the same thing...

Actually, the key is to go with someone in a wheelchair/crutches...you automatically go to the front of every line. Learned that with my sister when we were kids after she had surgery to correct her scoliosis

this is 100% worth buying your own crutches from the thrift store for. I wouldn't even have any shame about it
