I solved the fucked up alignment problem on my truck because I used to have my alignment knocked out literally every time I went Wheeling. Turns out the solution is to get whatever alignment you like and then go back and tighten those cams down yourself the alignment guy is always do it about as tight as a car should be tightened and they're very hard to bolts you can really tighten the absolute fuck out of them and that is solved 90% of my alignment issues

 

hope yours isn't like my local dealer, freakin 200% mark up on everything just because they can. Much cheaper anywhere else online, Mcgeorge usually ships super fast

 

A SAS is also a good fix. The alignment on the 80 series was stupid simple. I’m gonna go to lower springs to hopefully solve my alignment issues.

 

You realize we mentioned this for about a year now right LOL

 

I have aligned My Land Cruiser one time since I got it in 2017. But to be fair it only really has one thing to align. I do my own alignment on the Tacoma now and it's been really easy to keep in line since I started tightening everything myself. If anyone should be throwing alignments out it's me with my penchant for speed and my over large tires but I haven't in over a year now.

You shouldn't have alignment issues, you're not even lifted that much.

 

I may have knocked out the alignment on the LC. Front end went deep into a rut with rocks, so steep my front bumper actually hit the ground in front.

Was so relieved I didn't hit the AC drier I neglected to relocate.

If you threw out your alignment doing that then you bent something in the steering assembly. The most common thing to do is to throw out your caster and make the truck wander like crazy because you tore out one of the radius arm bushings

 

Oh I know I've bent something for sure, I just didn't bother assess since I've been busy after wednesday.

Which brings up, it's amazing how expensive new links are yet how easy they are to make on your own.

 

Kind of sucks to make new steering links on the 80. But it's not Uber hard to do. I don't think I'd want to make the pan hard for myself though it's got to bend that I don't think I can duplicate in tube stock without a mandrel
