    Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Be careful who you quote there, buddy. My sources are google and @Rock Lobster

One is significantly more reliable than the other. And knowledgeable on all things lobsters. :p

It's generally what people are referring to when they talk about how "slow" an engine feels. They're not necessarily drag racing. But, in this case, the 4.0L has much more low end torque so it feels faster. In reality, the 3.5L has the faster 0-60 MPH due to the power band and being designed to have higher end torque.

Yeah, way more usable power than any previous generation is gonna suck! ;)

I know those weren't my comments. But, they were replies to my ramblings, so I'm taking credit.

The better 0-60 could be due to gearing, also . Although, the single VVT-I 1GR does fall on its face at high RPM's,

Eh I test drove one and it was a nice truck that I’m sure would last a life time, but power wise… it had what it needed but nothing more.
    :turtleride:
    they all need superchargers IMO

I believe gearing plays a factor as well, although the rear end gears are similar.

Back in the 70's, I use to drive to the north end of our capital city where a lot of warehouses were located to pick up electrical supplies for our shop....the district was known as frog hollow, or the red light district. Was pretty common to be loading the truck with gunfire a block away.

I tell folks this all the time and the tune fan-boys claim it's not detectable. Trust me, if you make a change to any computer, it leaves a digital footprint. The day is coming where dealers will be able to detect non-factory tunes in a heartbeat.

And states with emissions test are also working on this. Once implemented, anything other than a factory tune will cause the vehicle to fail emissions. Tune away, but don't believe the "it's undetectable" hype.
