Valid point. I'm not a fan of the cutouts either. Will keep an eye on drainage.

Not bad at all. I am mechanically impaired so if I can do it anyone can lol. The biggest pain was removing the tape from the MAF sensor wire where it was attached to the OEM resonator box, and a bit of a wrestling match getting the new tube on. I found it easier to unsnap the top of the air box to give myself a little extra room to get the new HPS tube in place. Other than that, no problems. Entire operation took about 30 min start to finish.

Honestly just like the way the look (in channel) and let you keep windows slightly open when raining.

Did you buy the skid plate for cosmetic or functional use?

Finally worked up the nerve to cut my bumper…just knew I didn’t wanna cut my sport fenders. So went with the “baby” viper cut.

Drivers side has has a bit of a belly close to the fender which I’ll fine tune and file down when I get a chance and maybe chose too small of a hole saw radius to allow the edge trim not to kink a tad…overall really happy with the look and end results.

Removed the chrome off the rear bumpers and replaced with some cheap fleet-spec plastic end caps. Also swapped in TRD Pro Taillights and installed a VLED taillight conversion kit. Way safer to have a separate amber turn signal and utilize the full C shape for brake lights. also no chrome looks a lot better on ELM.

I guess you missed post 262451...

"I'm not selling because of damage or I don't expect a skid plate is going to get dinged up. I'm selling because I underestimated the bulk of the steel plate and realized it's overkill for the way I use my truck."
