Yesterday's word was one that the wordlebot used to use as it's opening word. A lot of people still use it, including my daughter-in-law on occasion. Hence her getting it on the first guess. Glad I'm not in a league with them...!

We got lucky today.

 

I always start with the same word everyday
And I have a follow up word. Went against my better judgment. Gah! Should've just followed my instinct on the 2nd guess

 

Yeah, yesterday's I could see being a starting word. I use the MIT AI driven best starting word. Well, ish.

Today's was bananas.




(This is where my friend got into a spin and missed it for the day, so I knew to give a shot at the opening letters)





And even with that guess with the opening letters it still took some guesses to get there.

PS - Kazoo is a low blow, just saying.

Wow, we won June! We had a streak of 3's, that's probably what did it. And a very very rare 2 right at the end of the month.

Lucky today...

 

Damn! I've been staring at today's puzzle for 1/2 hour.

 

Sunday is the hardest. Monday easiest.
Just like new york times puzzle.

 

NYT Sunday puzzle is not the hardest. Friday or Saturday are the tough ones. Sunday is supposed to be fun and a little bit challenging too.

I like nerdle better because of the singleness of equations. Wordle can be simply guessing. How many times have had 3 or 4 words with all but one letter?

Cross Nerdle is all about finding the weak point and puzzling the line. Then that helps to puzzle another line.
