One nice thing about that airport is watching Trooper 7… I think 7 maybe 6, the MD state police medivac taking off from there.

Morning MD! On my way back to MD now! Wish it was in the Tacoma and a fun trip but this is a seeing family trip then a little Deep Creek next weekend.

 

My #1 rule when cutting down trees, always use a Polaris as a buffer to protect the Hondas.

 

@ $500Dave- is that blue Honda next to yours just a newer version of yours? It looks very similar, just a bit bigger. Awesome group of machines that you and your friends have on the mountain.

Same size machine but it's a 2023 Trail Edition 1000, has a slight lift. Mine is a 2018 Deluxe 1000. TE has Fox suspension, which is alot nicer than my suspension. But my sxs has selectable front & rear diff lockers, surprisingly the Trail Edition doesn't. Here's a pic of a 2023 base model 1000, my Deluxe 1000 & the TE 1000. My buddy didn't listen to me and bought the base model at Pete's in Baltimore instead of here in WV. He paid the same amount for that base model as my buddy did for the TE here in WV. They bought them just a week apart from each other.

tomorrow we might bail on the trip due to plenty of thunderstorms forecasted at our final place. Would be tough to keep the pups inside the truck most of the evenings and muddy paws are no good

Yeah. 18 mpg’s at 91+ octane hurts.

I feel similar. The lack of Apple CarPlay and poor fuel economy drove me away. Otherwise I might have went CPO GX460 over Tacoma.

 

Yep you read my mind, the lack of tech was the other thing she didn’t like.

 

Look into the RX350. Similar price range, and the new ones only require 87 octane from what I read.

Not as cool looking, but more than adequate for most uses.
