Yeah it looks like a madhouse. Same with those wrecker games in Moab.

Sometimes on those outings described, 1-3 people can't make it.

That's when a new-to-the-group vehicle joins to learn - trail etiquette, communication, etc

I always seem to encourage and find a new person or two to join every outing I post about, which is cool cause you see a real excitement when they see my friends and I run a harder technical trail, and you spot them running (in their experience) a different hard trail themselves.

Plus it's a great way to make new friends.

Once you understood it, it had its advantages. You didn't need to remove the wheel from the vehicle to balance it unless it had disc brakes that had to be released from the rotor to freely spin. The wheel was spun up over 100 MPH. If you had customers that liked to drive fast, the wheels would be in balance at high speeds. Rear wheels could be balanced by jacking up the vehicle and lowering one of the wheels down on a coke box or big wooden block to spin at some speed like 50 MPH. That was unless it had positrac that required the rear wheels to be relocated to the front for balancing.

I would still rather have a good spin balance than current methods.

Pretty soon you'll be doing dad things like inviting parents over to enjoy meats you've over cooked and then talking shit about them to your wife.

I have more respect for the actors in Championship Wrestling than the actors in the wrecker shit around Moab.

It's always something really stupid and subjective too. Like "I can't believe John just put little Riley in Montessori school"

Welcome to the life of parenting, where literally everything between parents is a point of contention and absolutely none of it matters a bit.

Ah good thing is neither of us are like that.

What did make her heart sink a little more is that, now as a mom and a teacher, it's even more surprising and hurtful how shitty parents can be. Gotta remember she's been a SPED teacher for 12 years. She absolutely loves children, especially those with challenges. As much work as it is having a newborn, we take every moment to talk to him and give him all the time and attention we possibly can for proper development.

I feel for any teacher cause parents are hard AF on them about how much they dedicated time and effort wise to their child. Meanwhile when they get home they ignore the kiddo

    Exactly!

You got those parents that look forward to school cause it's the one time they can just drop off their kids without a care in the world.

"What do you mean it's an early out today?"

    Anyway I digress.

    How's everyone's weekend?

Mine started off as a disaster. Then ended on a good note earlier today. I do need to work for work tomorrow to get ready for a meeting on Monday. Then I will be off on Tuesday.

So now all I hear about is road force balancing vs traditional balancing. Is there any preferred modern balancing method?

I only ask because my 7 year old awful KO2s are about to get replaced on my 04.

Get other tires than KO2s and you won't need to worry about it. I just regular spin balanced my 35s and my AT51s and they're fine. The 35s handle up to 115mph even without shaking.
