Thanks, maybe I’ll try this too… I did install the trailer electrical kit from trailer, It not bad except running the electrical line from the back to the battery.I used wire looms/electrical tape on pretty much every wire so that took a bit of time. I also have a fuse box and cutoff switch so that I can have some lights and any other accessory I want.

Got my Voodoo 14” rack installed with the tonneau brackets and bike mount. Now to find a tonneau that I like and some bed stiffeners. I have some Cali Raised I picked up used but I may look at a different set so I don’t have to cut the bed mat.

I have the same top and have been going back and forth on getting the low profile cab guard you have. How do you like it? Does it restrict your visibility? Was it a pain to install?

Super clean truck! If you don't mind me asking, what percent tint do you have on the front windows? I'm planning on getting mine done soon, and that looks perfect IMO.

Love the look...I have Bushwacker Fendys and interested in a set-up similar to yours when the time comes.

It really depends on how you use your DiamondBack. Part of the reason I bought mine was because of the small size of the bed (it really gets small when it's covered) and the ability to put large/long item on top of the DB. After the first time I strapped some lumber to the DB, I understood the idea behind the cab guard. I needed about 6 treated 8' 2X4s and couple 4x4s so instead of using my utility trailer I strapped them to the DB. It was plenty study enough for the load but I was worried that the load was going to shift forward against the rear window. Hard braking, something hitting the ends of the lumber and shoving it forward, backing into something etc. . So to answer your question I made the move to get the cab guard because I am strapping things to the DB quite often. I would say it alters your view more than restricts it. But with coolers, chairs, umbrellas, camping equip, harvested game, etc. strapped to the top you are going to have restricted views anyway. The install wasn't hard if you take your time although drilling through the top isn't something I like to do. I went the extra mile in waterproofing the holes as to what DB provides i. e. used silicone at hole locations. It adds some weight to the forward panel as well. For me I'd call it a win. About the only drawback for me is that it alters how you use the cleats closest to the cab. That and the $$. DB is dang proud of their products.

I had the same concerns after hauling materials on top. I thought about the lager guard as well, it just seems like overkill. Thanks for the feedback.

Are you able to fold the rear panel all the way back or does the cab guard block it?

Just finished installing my hood strut kit. Bye bye to the prop rod !!

I got the redline tuning kit and it is simple to install. The only thing I thought was working the rivet gun handles is difficult on the engine bracket. The hole nearest the firewall is hard not to scratch the fender. I knicked mine ever so slightly because of space and angle trying to work the gun.
