Surprised Toyota didn't add them to the Pro, honestly. Would have been a relatively cheap refinement for the halo model. When they sell everything they make why work for it I suppose.

Toyota can’t even upgrade the tires on their “halo” pro models.

29k. I jumped at it, truck has had 2 major collisions totaling over 30k. Guess they didn't do a carfax.

Update, my tacoma is still sitting on the lot like 3 months later, marked down so far to 35900. Im guessing the fact it has been in 2 major collisions affecting all 4 sides has made some kind of impact. Dealership def overpaid me, finally a little karma for them. Absolutely still loving the 4runner.

Wife and I picked up a Lunar Rock TRD ORP in July, my dad is getting into a 2023 TRD OR Tacoma. Having driven both, I prefer the comfort and drivability of the 4R, but being able to have access to a bed is going to come in handy when needed. I like both, prefer the 4R if I had to choose one or the other.

Also rates suck for anything that isn't new. 7.09% for super prime credit for used is horrible. Also for people financing the truck (75% of buyers) trying to get that amount of advance without significant cash down means the bank will deny loan. The truck still books like a SR5/TRD OR/etc but banks won't finance all the additional adds.

I like to imagine they had someone interested in buying it, the customer asked for a carfax, and they were like "oh sh*t... we should probably lower the price."

Really nice looking t4r. If they made a manual i would of gotten one when i got my new taco. Thats the only thing keeping me in the taco and not a 4runner

I HAD to have a manual transmission. I also really benefit from having a bed. Made the choice of a '23 Tacoma a no brainer for me. I love the 4Rs and know I will lust over the new LandCruisers. But the Taco is going to serve me for a long time. As to power, it is fine. I don't race and it always gets me where I want to go. If I could have gotten a manual transmission with the 4 banger, I would have been happy with that too - nothing beats the reliability of that little motor.

    I wanted a proper 4wd vehicle.
If the t4r had been available with a manual gearbox, It would have been a tough choice between it and the taco...

But the Taco was the only one available with 3 pedals -and since I can't drive an auto.
It was then a very easy choice!

The taco with the smartcap does a great Job. It keeps the grimy stuff from camping etc., separate from the cab.

This post is the exact reason I waited do do mine.

I’ve was looking at a 23 FROR . Really nice. I liked both shifters . Interior was nice . $48k + for the whole shooting match. I can afford it even without trading my ‘08 with 127k and new frame , leaf springs ( 6 years ago), valve cover gaskets, ignition coils, alternator, pulleys, tensioner, ac compressor , and belt.

I can afford it more easily if I trade and by a beater to make dump runs and Lowe’s type stuff. Not giving up this truck.

    This drives my wife crazy
