    Cash can earn more than the interest rate on a car loan. I get 4% on my savings account and could finance my wife’s car (if we bought today) for 3.9%. So I make pennies but don’t tie up 40k in cash and get a better OTD price from the dealer.

    How? According to Toyota website, the 2023 TRD Off-road double cab 4X4 manual is 36,695 (not counting destination or tax). How on earth is an SR worth 35K?

    I damn good at guessing, wouldn't you agree?
    My target price for the TRD OR was $52,900 (fully loaded) assuming a $4-5k cost for the top option group.
    Toyota started the price lower, but made loading the truck $8-10k, coming out to the same price.
