Still have the clunking noise at driver's side front tire

I need help figuring this out. There is no clunk on smooth dips but if I hit a small pot hole or bump in the road I get the clunk. So far I had 2 shops confirm that my ball joints are good so what else could it be? I just had both front axles replaced so could the issue be caused from something the garage did? Everything seems to be tight.

 

My tacoma has been making noises like this from the day I bought it. Just gonna have to turn the music up bud. Pretty sure nothing is going to randomly fall off your truck.

 

It's not a annoying little rattle to shake off, this is a clunk. And my truck is a 4x4 so I don't need to be stranded if something is about to break if I'm offroad.

 

Tie rods(inner and outer), rack, rotten rubber bushings. Keep looking...

 

what about the lower ball joint? did they inspect it as well. i dont know if it makes a clunk when worn out or not just throwin it out there. there is a recall on them to BTW.

 

I'm not sure if their check of the ball joints was conclusive of the upper and lower. Do you check them the same way?
