So I just lifted my truck with a leveling kit. 2” in the front with the bilstein 5100 and 1” in the back with a 1” block.
I added on ko2 275/70/17 tires and they came out badass, but now I noticed I get slight to moderate tire rub when I make sharp turns or when I go up and down driveways turning at the same time.
It seems to only rub on the back of the wheel liner near the mud flap. It doesnt look like much but it sounds gnarly when it happens. Someone recommended I get the alignment checked out and that I may need to adjust my casters for the new lift and tire size. Any idea if this will work?
Any other ideas what it could be?

Usually we can get 275 and 5100's not to rub.

Big thing is max the lower caster arms and let the camber climb.

Easy solution is usually to remove the front mud flaps.

Yeah I think I’m going to try it without the mud flaps for a few days and see if that solves it. If not then will just take it to alignment shop to get their input.

more caster, is correct. caster is moving the wheel rear to front, & vise versa. camber is how the wheel is tipped in/out, from the top or bottom. Ski

Def your alignment, running same lift with 285s and -10 offset volks. What offset are your wheels?

I'm running 5100 with my 2023 OR, and had the same rubbing issues with 275 Wildpeaks. I had alignment done to push the caster to minimize it. However, it's all due to my -10 offset wheels. What's your offset?

get an alignment, requesting the most caster you can get, while keeping the camber and toe, within specs. Ski

Camber climbs as you as caster, this is usually why most add upper control arms. You sacrifice camber as the caster goes up.

I meant max caster if you read it again.

my bad, didnt read it correctly, then miss-typed "lower the camber".

should have stuck with get as much caster as you can, and keep the camber and toe in spec.

I edited my post, so the correct info is there. it's all good, we are all just trying to help the OP. Ski

How about wheel width? You need to consider both offset and wheel width together when figuring out where the inner and outer edges of the wheel/tire will be located.
