Got any front angle pictures? I have a set of the same fenders, but I dont have the bed sides. I want to see how it looks with just the fronts on.

Installed my DRT shackle hangers yesterday and added the crossbar this morning. Felt like Riddick on Creamatoria racing the sun on Saturday, ha. My thermometer was reading 111F when I called it around noon. The sun was right at my garage door opening too.

For those interested, install is fairly straight forward, just time consuming. And a $15 air hammer works wonders, ha.

I wondered about that as well before ordering. The one time I thought it was a problem I just removed the panel. Takes a couple minutes. It sort of rests on the cab guard. The same thing if you want to fold back the front panel. Rests on top cab guard surface. Either way, you still have to strap down the panel if you are going to drive with it folded over. To me not an issue. You can see the added tool bar. I did both panels.

    Some stuff
If you get longer struts for the front lid, and disconnect the safety latch, you can then open it to a full 90 degrees. The rear I wouldn’t do the same as it gets to tall, but I’m short too though.

I have the same set up with the tool bars. Resting it on the cab guard will work for what I fold it back for; taking trash cans to the dump. I appreciate your feedback, the pics really helped. Thanks.

Tinkerer Designs. The patch in the center I got off of Etsy. It doesn’t quite fit so I put it under the ring.

1983 restoration in progress, major mods so far new 6" lift and 35" Mickey Thompsons.
Finally got around to installing the Pop-n-Lock tailgate lock. Easy install, hardest thing was installing the new clips in the tailgate and back of truck; not easy at all for someone with big fingers.

If you install some sound deadener, the locking/unlocking sound goes down to a reasonable level.

You touch the cables together? I thought you weren’t suppose to let positive and negative cables touch lol

Yeah it wasn’t too bad but some stuff was a pain. Getting the clamps on properly, and removing the bed bolts for me since I stripped one. You see their folding cover?
