Washed and dried the truck, vacuumed the interior, scrubbed the floor mats and cleaned the seats. A clean truck is a happy truck.

nah pulls harder than the SC i'd say.

I do think he'd benefit from 4.88s but still. Thing rips. Way fun.

He doesn't have any room to talk anyway, his SC has turbo lag since his half ass computer setup doesn't come alive and start over fueling until 3000rpm.

I mean, I did a third gear 50-70 pull and it was indeed quicker.

And it's more than one thing. I can do it, but it's going 2wd and automatic that are a real turnoff to that project. It's very expensive to keep it a manual and 4x4 with little to gain for it. If I could keep my trans I would keep pushing but it just isn't looking appetizing anymore. For less money I could be a shit box with 700hp...
It's the illusion of a turbo. Lag lag lag then power where the sc has more torque and more power lower down. While I don't doubt he has more peak HP at the monument, it needs turned up to make a bigger difference. Either way, stepping back into my car, both trucks are slow af

You need to get some numbers to back up your expectations. I think you under estimate that 8lbs from a super charger that comes online low down is somehow less than 8lbs of boost from a turbo above 3500 rpm :luvya:

Well I'm glad you like your lacking SC setup at least because it sounds like you'll be stuck with it now :luvya:

I'll get some numbers though, got Dyno time soon. I'll break that goofy little goal of 100mph for you too, get your vicarious living all from one spot haha

I'd like to experiment with charge cooling the SC for others just to see if it helps. Cause temps don't really affect mine with the intercooler, just altitude. I bet you'd pick up a good bit if your charge air wasn't over 180° on a full rip. That crazy IAT and the belt drive loss is why they aren't a 1:1 comparison.

I was thinking about an icebox earlier today and if it would make a big difference. Probably less dependent on ambient temps. The only comparison is speed/time. Hit the strip. I have the numbers to back up the butt dyno :p
