4Runner’s have gotten too expensive for what you’re getting. Easily spend $45k for a gas guzzling behemoth running on the same exact platform since 2010.

They are nice, but Toyota is taking advantage of their cult following.

 

Yeah I have yet to find any new vehicles that are still reasonably priced.

Did you see that thread here somewhere by that carmaker guy that had a rendering of the next Gen 4Runner?

If it’s anything like these, I know my wife will have one. Plan is to pay off the boat and then it’s a next Gen 4Runner. I think it’s simple as far as Toyota is concerned with why they haven’t changed… if it works, don’t fix it! And as for the MPGs, as long as it’s around 18+… I’m happy. My last two trucks, both large Chevys (one on 33’s and one on 35”s), were in the single digits per gallon. And to top it off, one was tuned for 93 octane. Talk about burning money out the tailpipe!!

 

Yep those are the pics I saw of the “new” 4Runner. I agree, if they look like that then we will definitely have one and I’ll probably be tempted to trade in the taco too. I need every inch of bed space for our long trips though so in reality I will have the taco forever. Another thing I'm not mad about lol, I still love the Taco as much as on day 1.

 

I helped my buddy this morning get these three 24ft steel beams out of a Cumberland rowhome basement. I was told they weigh 250lbs each so It wasnt a easy task. He plans to use'em for his cabin renovation. He bought'em for $70 each.

 

4runners are great, I love my old 3rd gen but having a pickup is essential for me. I couldn't imagine not having my Tacoma.

A few. Us neighbors here on the mountain have to take care of each other. This guy that I helped today is a taxidermist and he has a nice sawmill set up on his property up the road from me. He restored a old bear head for me and built a display platform for it and wouldn't accept any payment. He also offered to mill me a live edge mantle for my cabin free of charge. Doin favors is like currency up here lol.

 

Only 1 of each? Gotta have at least 2 of each.

 

One day when my current Tacoma has 500,000 miles on it, I’ll buy the newest model Tacoma that will probably be all electric and be capable of flight. Then I’ll have two lol

 

Cut the trip short - home in fewer than 3 hrs, but side-tracked to Bethlehem

Isn’t that a brewery now? Factory was mostly abandoned for years after they closed down.

There is a LOT there now - looked like part concert venue; probably some lofts, tours and what-not. Tourist-place/historic place.
