2004 290k no nav (thank god)

Had looked at another one before this one which was an 05 or 06 with nav, bad air suspension, and tore up interior

Got it from the second owner that had it for a little while, original owner was his brother in law (realtor) so it's super clean all throughout

2 1/2 months ago new CAT (oem from Lexus), new belt and water pump, and just after that the shocks (receipts given to me)

    Ton of routine maintenance records

Even the air suspension works but I read about it being expensive to replace if something fails so I'd be looking at a rear coil swap in the future

This won't go off road at all, it'd defeat the purpose of getting rid of the LC

Just need to look for a cheap pick up, preferably one with motor issues

AR used car prices have been pricey for a long time. More demand than supply. Then the resellers like to make a 100% markup on a used car. I ought to import nice clean vehicles from CA.

If he can find one, prices in Little Rock are usually more reasonable than the northwest part. Us poor folks down in LIT don't have the money to burn like NWA. :anonymous::rofl::anonymous:

Yeah, the nav is an absolute pain. AHC/air bags are nice, but definitely a liability at that mileage (even on road only).

Yeah the Huy Fong brand seems to be it, I've seen other ones for regular prices but when you look up that main Huy Fong brand that you see everywhere it's sky rocketed. If the shortage has been going on for over a year I'm surprised it hasn't affected all the brands

Now that's its in the news, people are hoarding it -- like toilet paper in 2020.

I only eat it when I go to my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. But I'm think about buying some because it may become hard to get. :anonymous::anonymous:

I’ve noticed that. There’s also very few interesting cars coming up for sale here, nothing like Colorado or the PNW.

Oh forgot to mention the bags are only a few years old; everything and anything done to this vehicle has been with OEM parts with the exception of the recent shocks.

The 6 disc changer works and all too.

I would just go with a BT45 plug in for bluetooth as I stream my music this way I keep a factory look but add utility.

The stock stereo sounds nice too, I dig it.

Having been in a 4th Gen 4R, and now a GX, I couldn't see myself going to a 4R unless it was going to be used offroad.

Pics of your GX post-suspension upgrade?

I see pictures when the Ferrari or AC Cobra club goes on a Saturday outing for lunch at the Oark Cafe to practice being a hillbilly.

AR can be like CA to a degree. There is a Yountville and a Bakersfield. @Ozark_RegCab lives in Yountville and I live in Bakersfield. :anonymous::anonymous:

Haven't installed yet. I got everything apart and did the cam tab gussets and CMC. It's just waiting for me to mount the resi bracket and get it back together. Been sitting in pieces for a few weeks, just need to find some time. Hoping to get it done in the next couple weeks. Will definitely keep you posted.

I have thoughts about finding an old filling station somewhere on Route 66 (where humidity is low) and setting up living on one side and having two car garage with a lift on the other side.

    Does your sunroof work?

Mine does although I only like the tilt option.

Yep. Funny thing though, I hate sun roofs. I never use it and actually leave the cover/shade closed year round.

I think you're gonna like the GX. I've been driving my Taco while the GX has been laid up and it really highlights now nice the GX drives. Miss the V8 power driving around the Sierras and just soooo smooth.

I'd never use mine during normal driving but it was great for camping if you slept in your rig; I would leave the tilt open in the 4Runner or Land Cruiser and it'd ensure it didn't feel muggy inside.

Although it was nice having the rear window rolled down a tiny bit in the 4R.

Just figured I'd ask so @Ozark_RegCab can compile his data on failing components over different models.
