The mounts are the same as I put the pro rigid industries on my sport. In all seriousness its be because of certain state laws.

thanks man. I originally wanted Lunar Rock, but this one had just finished being built and there wasn’t another within 200 miles. So I jumped on it.

 

Picked mine up last week, it’s just what I was looking for..

Just adding a 1/2" thick shim spacer on top of the front coilover assembly with give anither 1" if lift without affecting the ride much.
In the rear u could replace the factory 1/2" lift block with a 1 or 1 1/2" block or AAL.

This is if ur trying to keep costs down. Any more lift than that I would go with replacing coilovers/shocks.

 

Lou look a few pages back you will see I put on 6112 and 5100’s on the back for a little over 2” of lift. I’M ALSO STILL about 10K less$ then if I had gotten a TRDPRO

Think I'm gonna cut up my 23' TE and put in that Body Armor HiLine bumper. Great sales going on now and plus, I can add a light bar, (to offset the lack of fog lights) and throw in a winch. Trying to get it all under 1k. Just going down the rabbit hole of winches, (the truck kind) and light bars to find the best set up. I am inexperienced with electrical stuff so trying to learn how to run the light bar to the switch panel and should that be connected to DRL or should it have it's own button.

Looking forward to adding some pictures and get this thread a bit more active. Need the 23' Trail Edition community to speak up!!

Yea,

apparently when Toyota lifted it from the factory, the height of the fog lights were not within regulations. But from what I have read, it does come pre-wired for them.

 

How does the Trd pro get away with having fogs?

 

it seems like it is because the Pro's fog lights light up on the bottom half only. If that is the case, that is really nit picky on toyota's part, and it really doesn't make sense.

 

And every other factory lifted truck out there.

 

thinking about maybe painting them black with the outer tube painted bronze to kind of add to the rims a bit
