Have your press plates? Scrounge up some 2x4s. What I used. Arbor plates which came with the HF press on bottom, 2x4s stacked, press plates on top. Done.

What tim did was get all exotic with 4x6s, this plate, that plate, etc. Keep it simple but safe. I used this in conjunction with the 2x4s but you can find something cheaper on Amazon if need be.

I don’t think i could get one since I don’t have credit. I’m not sure I’m ready to give up the shitbox life either, though I’d like something with dirt cheap running costs. Just tryna be more financially responsible.

Think we had this conversation about the right way of doing it; hell even if you have a fat bank account you still need credit for a lot of things.

 

I tried applying for entry level credit cards last year and kept getting rejected. I keep meaning to try again now that my income has gone up though.
