Any woodworkers?

I think that I just marked the height of the shelf on the second one wrong. I was more worried about making the mortises correctly. I also did not put them next to each other when assembling. I would not have really mattered at dry fit because the mortises had already been cut.

The shelf and its height were never in my original drawing. I guess I will be sure to add those details next project.

 

Not that I haven’t done that a”couple “ of times. I use witness marks and labeling religiously , but sometimes you get in a hurry.

 

I typically use a couple of scrap pieces of wood to make sure shelves and slats are spaced correctly. Different work flow with the Domino. Still 100% on me getting in a hurry and not thinking things through.

 

Somebody get a group buy together!

Or you could build two more with same measurements. Then you would have two pairs of matching cabinets. Keep the set you like the most, gift or sell the other pair

 

If I did that, I’d have 4 different ones!

I need a new project but have been just coming up with blanks.. someone give me some inspiration on what my next build is gonna be. Ive got some 100+ year old cherry from an old bridge in my hometown that my grandfather held on to for decades. Want to do something cool and meaningful with it but cant come up with anything

 

A dinner/kitchen/family table would be on my list

The table went together easily the lift arrived early so popped it in….holes no line up. Newbie guy didn’t know I had to buy Jessem corner pads. On order.
