    This truck was not only sold at the same dealer where my dad bought my truck back in September 2009, but it appears to have been sold around the same time! I got the specialty railroad plate back in January 2021 because my original plate was starting peel, and I wanted something different. For those who don't live in PA, when you buy a vehicle a dealer in PA and are a PA resident, the dealer is able to act as a notary and not only transfer plates but issue new ones. Since my dad traded a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder (classified as a passenger vehicle by PennDOT), the license plate couldn't be transferred to the new Tacoma, and we got a new "TRUCK" plate (identical to the normal standard issue plate except it says "TRUCK" at the bottom instead of the state's website). All Pennsylvania passenger and truck plates use an "ABC-1234" format, and the first three characters of my plate were "YVH", as was the case with this truck!

    I instantly knew that this was a 2012 because it has the revised front end, but no touch screen radio; Volpe Enterprises is well-known in my area, but I didn't know they had Tacomas! This truck also appears to have gotten a new frame at some point...

    It has foglights, a body-color front bumper, and a chrome rear bumper but no "SR5" emblems. Carfax identifies it as a "2015 Tacoma V6", but does not give a trim level; I'm confused!
