That’s great to hear, not a bad price at all either. I’ll definitely check it out!

Can't believe that diff leak is still a thing. One of the multitude of issues my 2016 had. One of my most hated issues was the creaky radiator support bushings. At 5k miles that thing squeaked like a 1970 Ford Maverick with dried up upper control arm bushings.

The main complaint is slow charging and heat although a couple of people have posted about the pad bubbling and deforming. Also depending on the height of your camera it may or may not work. Past couple generations of phones have huge camera bumps that prevent the phone from laying flat and interfacing with the pad.
Member here 3d printed a tray for me that sits on the pad and holds a MagSafe puck. I think it’s pretty slick

A little of this and a little of that.
I bought a used 2020 TRD Sport AC a few weeks ago.

I can’t believe that Toyota still has a prop rod for the hood. :annoyed:

The plus side is the fact that I can purchase hood struts from @RedlineTuning!!!

These are quality struts, quality hardware, and Redline provides fantastic installation instructions. I have installed them on every generation of Tacoma, and they have been great! I installed a set on my truck today.

I might have to get these. I’m waiting for the day the hood slides past my hand before I get the rod in place and something bad happens.

I went with Spiker on my latest truck. Cheaper and same quality as RedLine. Also lifts a bit higher.

Spiker hood struts here too. Any of the brands are MUCH better than wrestling a prop rod in place. o_O

Thanks for that. Agreed, it is slow, but it works fairly well on my iPhone 12 and the wife's iPhone SE. Both have cases, but the induction seems to work okay. We have this wireless Car Play adapter and if I'm listening to Pandora or using Maps (or both) for a while it keeps up with the battery drain at least. No bubbling to date. :fingerscrossed:

That little MagSafe puck is pretty sweet. :)

Mine works but it won't work with my new phone (1/2 in ratchet fell on my old one and completely wrecked the screen) since the camera edges are raised. It will charge my airpod pros though.

Installed a FitcamX and an Offroam phone mount. https://amzn.to/3raNSm6

The FitcamX was a pain in the butt to get the cover back in the TSS. Managed to pop off my rear view mirror in the process.

The Offroam mount is sturdy! Holds my iPhone perfectly.

I finally broke her in. Went out on the trail and camping in Dinosaur National Monument. Super quiet; just me and one other tent in the campground. The ranger tried to tell me the canyon bench road was terrible and I shouldn't drive it. So I took all my food and water with me just in case. Spent half of the time in 2WD and never needed 4LO, but I did just to try out the Crawl and MTS features. Super easy. Never saw another vehicle. Even though I didn't come near testing the capabilities of the truck, it just felt like it was made for bumps, dips, loose rock, and washboards. Like I set her free. Ah.

Going from Denver to Dinosaur I got 23 MPG; it just hums on those 2 lane highways. Almost 22 MPG average over the 800 miles of my trip (stopped by the Western Slope to see mom too) including the off road driving.
