I’m looking at the V2 because of the shorter inseam. Looks like they’re on the list!

edit: looks like they are the list

when worldwide was sending out all the coupons and I was getting them for $15 each with free shipping I got like 3. They’re nice hoochie daddy shorts. I use them for outside house tasks

I was really tempted to choose the personal delivery option, but then I remembered I’m not absolutely loaded so I opted for the free option. Got 2 pairs and some warm weather socks. I do like WWC, their videos are excellent for newer riders and they seem to be a good group to support!

You can get the V3 with shorter inseam (9”). Main difference between V2 to V3 is dual front zip pockets and an improved D-ring closure on the V3.

To me the best attribute is that they nailed fabric used. It’s strong enough for a trail pant, but still crazy lightweight/breathable/comfy/stretchy. The overall leg opening is the best balance of fitted without being skinny jean tight, and not 90’s level baggy short loose. Obviously fit can be super subjective.

ONeill shorts, from Costco - they are great for warm weather riding :) $15 a pair if I remember correctly - bought them last year, they are my every day shorts, but also will use them for rides. I look online occasionally to see if I can find more, but haven’t seen them available since. But they are your everyday casual board shorts really. No liner.

not what you were asking about with the KETL shorts, but thought I’d share.

Just looked at the V3s. I’d say the O’Neill are pretty dang similar in material and cut.

I’m on the Costco train as well. I use Weatherproof shorts. Only one zipper pocket on the side of the leg but at one point I got 2 pairs for 10 each.

    https://www.costco.com/weatherproof-vintage-men’s-short.product.100980746.html

the pants are great for winter in warmer places or fall and early spring in warm places. Wind doesn’t go through em but they’re light.

The only time its a crime is when you can see skin between kneepad and shorts, otherwise show a little skin.

What are your thoughts on buying used Emtbs? I found this one for a good price. Original MSRP is $7k, it's listed for $4.2k with 485 Miles on it

Giant has a lifetime warranty on their carbon frames, but it's NOT transferrable, so getting it done via the original owner would be a pain. I don't love the look of Giant's eBikes, but they seem well spec'd for their price.

I was looking at a new YT Decoy for about the same price, but it's spec is lower. Yari front fork and Rockshox rear shock. The only problem is, they're not in stock.

Wife and I went on a mountain adventure today. 27 miles with 2200’ elevation. She was a trooper and enjoyed every bit of it! This is a portion of the bike backing trip I made last year with a little extra that I’ll ride on an upcoming trip. Mainly gravel roads but got a little single track in too! Getting up to 8800’ really cools it off in this summer! Made it up to the Jemez Mountains, northwest of Albuquerque.

Yep, i wear bibs, with my roadie at heart background. They are perfect!

And today’s right was great! Another ride up in the mountains, but I pedaled to get there. 44 miles, 4.2K elevation on the gravel bike.

Left later than I should but had this little stream to cool off a few times, once on the way up and then back down.

Since I won't be able to ride for a couple of weeks, I thought I'd do a slight upgrade to the bike. Luckily, I was able to score a Wolftooth Drop Stop B chainring so I can continue using the old crankset. Still waiting for AB to come out with an oval, 3 bolt SRAM Direct Mount.

    Easiest install and setup ever.
