We got a co-worker who definitely pronounces words differently. He's from West Virginia, so that explains a lot. He calls chicken parmesan chicken par-a-jame

Finished carving my 12th bowl and decided to make 13 just in case. Got it mostly done as well.
A night of minor carving on four of the bowls will get them all sorta like each other. Then the belt sander and sanding begins! Pics for reality of being sawdust and sweat covered for every evening for a few weeks. Looking forward to getting away from the death wheel. It took a chunk of my Jawhorse today when I wasn't paying attention.20230704_205657.jpg

Smart! I tend to make 1 extra to 90% complete, and then rough-cut the blank for a 2nd, just to be sure

Today should be the day our Plumbing gets started. Its going to be a full blown redo all the way from the city line in.. I may have to start working a corner after I get off work from the shop... ah, who am i kidding? I cant give it away, nobody is gonna pay for it.

Hope you all still have the same number of fingers you started the 4th of July with. Have a good day!

New toy in the shop today. These tires were installed a year ago, which is around 6,000 miles ago, so time for rotation. Shortly after installation I noticed I lost all the weights off a rear tire, so rather than go back and have the same thing happen I figured I'd spend less money, buy a balancer and try it myself. The reviews were meh, with people showing how they reworked them to be more accurate, so I bought expecting to have to mess with it. Surprisingly, once adjusted, it's been repeatably dead on.
