I bet Acadia is absolutely perfect right now. For a dozen years climbing on the precipice over 4th of July weekend was a tradition. Really is one of the nicest national parks in the country.

Sadly it's so overcrowded these past few years at this time of year.. The loop road is bumper to bumper at times.

Oh I bet. It's the same out in Cali. Yosemite during peak season is pretty much not visitable because the crowds completely take away from the experience. Luckily there's a lot of Alpine climbing out here and not many people like to hike more than a mile. lol

So I’ve got this problem with strong afternoon sun on my patio. I'm thinking about putting up a retractable awning or a louvered slat insert just to keep the sun off while I'm grilling because the direct sun makes it pretty unbearable. Before I head off to Lowe's or the internet to throw together a solution, what would y'all recommend? The opening is 80-1/2" wide and I don't need my solution to come down or stick out too far to do the trick. Thanks for your thoughts!

This is what we have on are back screen house. Works great and also love the privacy part too. You can easily see out in the yard but out in the yard you can’t see into the porch at all. Picture is a little dark because it’s raining pretty good here this morning.

It's neat, but feel like it's the wrong market for festool after they've gone so hard after the finishing trades.

I would LOL if the company that makes concrete cutting saws jumped into making trim nailers, and this feels so exactly the same, bringing a scalpel to the thunder dome...

Festool just feels out of place in the rough/general construction phase. They're not tools to be tossed around, never have been.

you don't follow European construction I'm guessing , every 2nd builder's tool is Festool and they use a lot of foam and mineral wool insulation because they do a lot of exterior insulation for retrofits and also in new builds for thermal bridging , for the German passive house (Passivhaus) it makes total sense
