She has to catch her mothers cat today for a vet visit...
She wears Kevlar sleeves for the job, the cat turns into a chainsaw when it sees the carrier.

It took me 1/2 a day and a whole roll of blue painters tape to mount & balance my tires last year. These 17" tires/wheels are heavy... :bananadead:

I still use one like this:

Her mom needs to leave the carrier out and open periodically. Throw some treats in every once and a while.

This worked for my semi-feral brother and sister - the challenge now is pretending it’s just a treat excercise when it’s time for the vet. These guys are very aware…

How often did your mom have to lure your siblings into the carrier for a vet visit? :boink::rofl:

Yes, they are heavy, I have 275/70 ko2's just for more added weight. :D Just started my last one now. After I put the first one on the balancer, it seemed a little inconsistent, so I did end up fiddling with it a bit. I've taken off a lot more weight than I've put back on, so we'll see what happens when I drive it.

I should have taken before and after pictures of the weights. My last one had over 2 ozs on it. I stripped everything off, cleaned out the rocks, and put it on the balancer ready to add weight. It was perfect with nothing on it, better than a couple I balanced.

I had to be lured by Mom to visit the Doctor after jumping out of the truck the first time.

I was fine with the Vet though .

I'm (unsurprising perhaps  ) a fusspot about balancing tires, I can't stand a vehicle that shakes.

All the gravel needs to be picked out, all the dirt off the wheel, naturally it takes me forever...

    I put 4 new on her Subaru a month ago -- they were a breeze, only 205/70 - 15.

I have seen this….. “Chasing weights”
Took all the weights off, broke the tire down and spun it 180°
    Took 2oz inside and outside..

I drove a little over 90 miles this morning to visit step-dad and he had steaks and potatoes cooked up for us! I wish it wasn't so far to drive as he could always use help with things to do around the house. He's very disabled, can't walk at all without cane. 77 yrs and body completely shot.
I trim a bunch of branches off tree for him and straighten up the garage. He has so many tools and stuff that he just doesn't want to part with. Tools that haven't been used in at least a decade. Garage and house looking like a episode of TV show hoarders.
Painful to see how sharp he is mentally but all crippled up.

Mike, did you actually see that? Seems hard impossible to believe!

Took mine for a quick spin around our concession tonight, seems pretty good, still has a bit of temporary vibration around 55 mph that I think may be in the driveline. :notsure:

Good news, plumbers patched up the lines enough to get us water back for now. Putting together an estimate of us on redoing the whole house and supply line. Feels very good to atleast have the ball rolling on this. It's been a weight on my mind for a while now
