    May not be available on a 25 yr old truck. Doubt the dealer is going back that far. Maybe rock auto or a generic part house like Napa, autozone etc.

    It’s often referred to as a sail panel, mostly referred to as a side mirror cover end plate. I’d ask somebody who’s parting out a truck in the 1st gen for sale thread. They’re everywhere on eBay and looks like Toyota still sells them.

    You can also use the ones from 3rd gen 4Runners that have a space for a tweeter pod if you’re looking to upgrade your stereo

    Grabbed this off partsouq. This came up for a 2002. You'll need to plug in your VIN to confirm on any of the part sites but this should get you started. Matches @Laxtoy's 2000+ part# from TPD. Might be the same for 98. Confirm via VIN.
