Google lens says maybe Ground Ivy? Or Centella Asiatica.

 

Wife said it's ground ivy, which creeping Charlie is another name for ground ivy from what she said

Saranac Lake is beautiful! Any of the ADK lakes are nice, Blue Mountain Lake, Indian Lake. I have family up that way, very nice area.

 

Yep, Creeping Charlie.
It's in the mint family and is invasive. One of my dogs likes to have a bite now and then and pukes right away.
Thrives in shaded areas and wet ground.
PIA to get rid of and spreads quickly.

 

I hate plants right now.. Currently fighting off oriental bittersweet, pokeweed, wild strawberries (spreading across my lawn), common blue violet and now dwarf cinquefoil.... I left for like 2 weeks for work during the peak rain and everything decided to invade.

I mowed the lawn yesterday and my god I hate this kind of heat

 

Same... for 2.5 hours but I started at 5pm so I got the backside of the heat.

 

We will cook most meals at camp but any must stop places while we are up there?

 

Honestly, there's not a ton up there. We used to drive through either to/from school or to/from Whiteface skiing. Lake Placid is a stone's throw away and it's a fun tourist trap. I like the Saranac region just because the scenery is great, the lake is nice and it's in the middle of nowhere. It's surrounded by the Adirondack park, lots of hiking and scenic drives. Nothing in particular to see for me, just a peaceful place.

 

Either something ate into it while camping or it finally gave up. Might just make a bunch
Of repairs Or buy another and still do some mods. Been using the hell out of it
