Yea I just ordered one as well. I don't carry a pump so if I'm on trail and have to fill my case, gonna be a lot easier to just pop the shift lever off and pour in from there.

 

I just bought a pump to keep in the truck box a couple months ago, lol. But yes, you're 100% right.

 

@Dan8906 so that thing is really that simple? Just push the shifter down and twist?

 

I'm just glad that Eric (Erik?) had the bright idea to bypass that valve using a 13mm socket as a temporary insert and that I had thrown those tin snips in my toolbag the previous day and we could cut that shroud off. Would've made for a real shitty day otherwise.

 

Ya, after we did that the engine didn't have a single issue with heat the rest of the weekend.
