    Hi all,

I am looking to replace my power mirror switch in my 2015 Tacoma limited.

I came across this non-OEM switch:

    https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-42515-901-729.aspx

However, it does not have a confirmed fitment for any tacomas.
It looks identical and has the same pinout as mine (Pics below)

Has anyone tried this? Do I run a risk of blowing fuses if I try it?

    Well it’s a Dorman product

    There’s a 99% chance it fits.
    90% it works
And 50% the switch goes out again in about 2 years.

FWIW, Toyota has used that switch for years.
It will probably work just fine.

I can send you diagrams if you like, that way you can test the switch before you install it.
But I’d stick it in and “see what happens”. I live on the “edge” like that.

That switch doesn’t really get used a lot.
Not unless you have different people drive the truck and you are adjusting the mirrors a lot.

I would stick the Dorman in it. That one part I am will to take a chance on.
It’s not like it’s hard to get to or replace.

I can understand if you want to go OEM.
It will probably last a lot longer.
