What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I'd use some heat for sure, even a little propane torch should help, heat up the back side of the material a bit

Ordered these recently but I’m hesitant on the install. Directions say to drill a hole in the pinch weld for a bolt and the other two mounting points are to be drilled into the under carriage with large self tapping screws. Has anyone tried these side steps before?

 

Bought one...2000 with E locker, 170k miles. I have a 97 4runner built out already. The neighbor was letting this go for a friendly price so I grabbed it up. Love the feel of being back in a toyota pickup. Had one 20 years ago, it's very nostalgic. Looking forward to another build out. Not sure what it will turn into just yet but I'm excited! First order of business, fix the ABS, tundra brake upgrade, new clutch, fix E-locker.

Hard pass on attaching something that large with any number of self tappers lol

Oops didn't mean to post this on this thread. I did replace the gas cap on my Tacoma and I'm not smelling gas anymore, so that's something.

 

Did they tale off the TRD OFF ROAD badging? I thought all the 98-04 E-locker trucks came with that package. It looks great as-is anyway.

 

Trd package came about in 98. There's no 95-97 TRD trucks, but there was an option for the locker on trucks even though they didn't have the TRD package. So although uncommon, there are tacomas with the lockers that weren't "TRD" trucks.

 

Deep cleaned wheels n tires.

 

Installed my Relentless Fab bumper and Warn winch.

 

I couldn't say, bought it from the second owner.

 

Today I posted it for sale.

 

Put some makeup on the ol’ girl. Does anyone else get tired of that section of the rear bumper that always shows rust? I decided to see if Line-X would put an end to it. Before and after pictures attached.
