why you all gotta go so far to get a fish?

we just head over to any of the local rivers, creeks or lakes & have at it. (we do have certain seasons for certain fish)

if we dont feel like cleaning them? captain D's, Long Johns, Krogers, Piggly wiggly all have plenty. & its always Fish on Friday everywhere.

then again im a Beef, Pork, Venison, chicken, rabbit, squirrel first guy.... then fish. :)

PS: before the anglers have a heart attack i do enjoy: a good walleye!! then perch, reds, trout.
or if buying it? tallapia, salmon, maui maui.

see im not against fish. im just against putting in effort or long drives for fish. :D

Thought I would share the “fun” I had on the 4th.

About 9 o’clock I was watching TV, and I blinked and suddenly saw a “shadow” near a shelf to the left of the TV. My eyes tracked over to see what it was, and the “shadow” moved over to our mantle, and kept moving as I tried to focus on it. When I got to the end of the mantle, the shadow was hanging out in space over the white wall. At that point, I realized it was something in my vision. After a few seconds of wtf, I thought oh shit what just happened to me.

I did a quick medical assessment- no pain, doesn’t hurt when I move, no sensitivity to light. I stood up, balance is good, looked in the mirror and smiled and raised both arms above my head, symmetrical and balanced movement there. Ok, don’t think it’s a stroke. Looked at the wall again, shadow is still there. It seems to move with my eye movement. At this point I remember the eye doc asking if I had floaters in my eye and explaining I’m at that age where they start to form so I decide it’s a floater in my eye and not an ER visit.

Next morning I call the eye doc and they get me in at 0945. Doc does a very thorough exam and tells me yes, it’s a floater. It’s actually a tiny drop of blood from a small retinal hemorrhage. No damage to my eye, no tear or detached retina, he’s not sure why it’s there. Asked about my BP and diabetes (normal for both btw). Said it could be from rubbing my eye and these thing normally correct themselves o_O He’s referring me to their retina specialist for follow up just in case.

He said the clot will eventually be absorbed and disappear but I may want to name my new friend because it could be around a while.

So, me and Fred the floater are getting to know each other while I wait the see the retina specialist on the 26th:annoyed:
