Bed lights are an easy cheap diy just hold your breath the first time you rip out those brake lights. The sounds make you feel like everything is broken.

Haha, so isn't there a switch on the left side of the steering wheel that controls that light? How does THAT get installed?

I went to 2 other Toyota dealers and none will budge on the Toyoguard. I honestly don't even care anymore. Same for the side step, that specific vehicle is otherwise perfectly equipped, so I might as well bite the bullet on it as is since I have no patience to hunt for trucks across state lines. The original dealer will take a deposit until the vehicle arrives, so that may be the way to go.

I had no luck getting the Toyo guard dropped either...That said I was trying to buy a Solar Octane Pro around Thanksgiving.... I was lucky to find one without a market adjustment. Good luck with your purchase.

I believe anything above the sr trim has the switch. my pro came with no bed lights but the switch was there from the factory.

Took the bed mat from 2nd Gen to 3rd Gen

Good lord. I remember when we would catch flak from this forum for paying 47k MSRP for a Pro trim...

Have them send you the window sticker. Only that really shows what is installed or not. Bed lights would be B5.
I would keep the predator steps-unless you mount other step you like better. I am pleased with the steps, protected my vehicle when I came off the road and scratched along a barrier.
I was happy with the Toyoguard also, wish I could get it again. No stone damage in 3 years and 47K miles. Parked at the wrong place for 2 weeks-hood covered with pigeon dump and El Paso sun did the rest. That on the paint would have ruined it and would have been a high $$ factor again.
Else-very nice vehicle you are getting there! Enjoy the ride!

Look over the Purchase Agreement for a long time. They'll throw it in front of you to sign with other docs, but, that doc seals the deal. Take your time reading it over. They may get a little impatient, but, do not let that intimidate you. If you don't like the overall amount of purchase or other items on it, tell then to revisit the deal. Again, they may tell you all kinds of reason why it is what it is, but you are in control. If they bring the purchase agreement back for you to sign and you still don't like it. Tell them, they can do better. If they want, don't give in to them. Tell them I'm sorry, but I cannot do business. If they stand, then you stand and say I don't want to waste yours or my time any longer and go to next dealer. They may run after you, like they did me. Getting the best deal requires "much" patience in shopping around. Of course that was a long time ago. However, I would think the principal of buying a vehicle these days is still the same.
