Here's a Southern Italian Favorite -- Fried Green Tomatoes with Marinara Sauce and Mozzarella and a little Parmesan. Fry in olive oil with minced garlic.

    That's the negative terminal lol.

Traced the issue to the positive cable rubbing through under the engine and welding itself to the frame. I'm thankfully their truck didn't catch fire 20230706_080037.jpg

Always good to CYA. I scratched a woman's bumper like a decade ago. The car was pretty beat and I don't know if she'd have even noticed it I didn't leave a note but I was trying to do the right thing: the paint was gone on all 4 corners of the bumpers and there was a dent in the hood of the car before I scratched the bumper. We initially agreed I'd cover the cost of some touch up paint from the dealer then she called me back and tried to get me to cover the cost of doing all the body work and repainting the entire car. That was a few months of insurance hell lol.

Looking back I wonder if she parked me in to try and get an insurance payout. I did a 120 point turn to get out and got away with a 2" scratch on the bumper cover from my receiver hitch.

She swore up and down there was no preexisting damage and both insurance companies tried to get me to cop to it. After much begging and "well she swore on tape there was no existing damage, it's time for you to tell us the truth" come to Jesus talks they came out and measured my receiver and concluded it's impossible I could have caused any of the other damage besides the scratch which I claimed doing. Didn't even have to pay my deductible in the end lol

Jeeeez yeah that was bound for a fire -- the negative terminal overheated and melted through before that happened?

Yea that's what happened, absolutely amazed. The fire started cause the lead terminal melted enough the cables loosened and then started arcing.it was actually the little wire for a cooling fan that caught fire right above the arcing20230706_084720.jpg

Luckily I had the opposite experience. The one car I ever touched was a lady's beater - similar situation. I rubbed the rear bumper with my tire sidewall and pulled some paint off trying to turn into a tight parking spot. Honestly wasn't even sure I did anything at first - couldn't find anything on my truck or out of the ordinary on hers, but she was walking out at the time, saw some semblance of what happened and showed me. Luckily she took pity on a college kid

@CS_AR New teaser from Toyota basically shows what we knew since the GX launched. LC front end looks quite different, rear looks a little different. I like the size.
Very interested to see prices when its official.

Still nothing. I took better photos of the car today. Hopefully they just don’t care and they aren’t scheming against me.

I think they are doing a good job with the launch for both products. LC/LX owners past and present get the similarities in the Sheetmetal stampings.

Car guys see and appreciate some of the design queues that pay homage to Dutch Darren.

The new GX and LC would be ok being parked outside of the Art Center Classic in Pasadena.
