In the past two weeks, my truck has seen dirt (10+ miles) every day. Needed 4x4 10 of the fourteen days because I would then have had to do a @Pixeltim two wheel winch out and the damn thing is heavy. Used 4lo 5 of those days because I didn't want to get stuck because the bugs are seriously that bad. Living the dream boys! Today was day fifteen and we drove from the Namekagon Barrens all the way back to Ashland using just the compass and dirt roads. Took forever but a fun challenge! Dirt every day... Well... not tomorrow. Off to Manitowish Waters for some riding, Boulder Junction for daughter pick up from cam and Lac Du Flambeau for some sailing and family time.

I would like to hook up with you to get mine adjusted for an AGM battery....but my budget was just blown all to hell (again). I don't think an AGM is doable at the moment. :anonymous:

Depending on the date, I'll come meet up with you guys there. Been putting this off for too long as I really didn't want to drive to Chicago.

I have a similar unit on the top of my cap, hooked to an AGM in the back. I eventually plan on an AGM up front and the ability to charge both fully when solar alone won't do it. 3rd gens need an ECU change to make this possible.

I rather talk about why I need a locker. A-TRAC hasn't failed me...yet. If I get stuck, I push the magic button, and off I go.
But I haven't played in the mud.

Nah, I always stopped and took my lumps...sometimes it was fun messing with the cop since I knew I was going to be ticketed. Like: Cop - don't you think you were going a little fast? Me - I'm just glad you weren't a half mile back when I was going a buck twenty.

Or: Cop - What's your hurry? Me - If I'm not doing 80 along this stretch at 6AM, I'm getting run over. Since we've been here, there hasn't been one car gone past...what was I hurting?

I love it when I can help friends and when truck dudes throw money at me so I can turn around and pretend like I know what a budget is and then spend it on more truck parts.

I got pulled over in my Smart Car many moons ago. I asked the cop how fast I was going. He sternly told me I was doing 37 in a 25. I looked him straight in the eye and firmly proclaimed that this car couldn’t possibly go that fast!
    (Still got the ticket)

I can get you updated for an AGM if you do get one. Just let me know. I feel you on budgets being blown to hell, mine always seems to be blown. Makes me smile though and that's what matters.
