I like to keep my business, like my products, as simple as possible.

Seasonal/holiday sales complicate things significantly.
For example, no one likes seeing something sold at a discount the day after they just paid full price.
I don't want to deal with angry customers who want retroactive discounts.
I'd much rather spend my time at work designing and building new products.

I don't want potential customers to wait for something they want now just to save a few bucks in a potential future sale and likewise, I don't want customers to buy a product just because it's on sale even if they don't really need it.

When people buy my products I want them to know 100% that they are getting a fair deal.

 

All, very sorry to say that I will not be able to attend overland expo pnw this year. Broke my right hand after going OTB on a rocky mountain bike trail yesterday.
My team will still be fulfilling orders as usual, (orders shipping same or next day) but my email communication will be limited this week.

To anyone attending, hope you have a great time. I'll aim to be there next year!

Anyone got a long bed and use these with a mtb tailgate pad? Seems like you might be able to stack all the platforms against the front of the bed and have enough room for bikes.

Thinking about selling my smartcap and using the cash to buy a softopper, bambed, tailgate pad, and some camping gear. Never got around to putting a RTT on the smartcap so it's a bit overkill.

 

Would love to be there and also meet you finally…But I’m on the east coast, so the expo probably would be over by the time my Taco got there

I have personally used a long bed with a MTB tailgate pad with all boards stacked against the front of the bed. Works with an XL frame 29er or smaller. If you have an even longer bike you'd just need to have it go slightly diagonally in the bed.

 

Yeah that's what I do. Use a moving blanket and a few bungees and it's solid. With softopper it's easy to fold it forward, load the bikes, then put the softopper back to normal and you're good to go.

Around this time last year, your company had a big anniversary sale. Are you doing an anniversary sale again this year?

 

Just want to comment and say that I’ve LOVED my bam beds in my long bed 3rd gen. Between the platform & the mid-ride topper, my camping setup was revolutionized. I literally never want to sleep in my tent anymore, haha. Awesome product all around & would recommend to anyone!

I’m hoping to pick up some of the bam bed sliders before this summer to more quickly / easily access items that are close to the cab.

 

I basically just rolled this into a bundle discount that is always active, I don't do time specific sales anymore since there's no real urgency and I don't feel great about making people feel like they need to rush their purchase and end up with something that they may not have really wanted.
