Universality!!!!:rofl::rofl: I don't look at the pump when it gets done. I know its like 22-25 gallons or so. I also pretend like that giant screen that for some reason, always shows mpg is just wrong.:rofl:

Took mine out for first time 2 @cynicalrider and scratched my hood all to shit and I was still chainsawing trees and hedge trimming shit!

There's a bunch of shit around here that like a few hours of fun but close. Like 10-45 min. @cynicalrider is down in the pines. That's more my style. He likes it up here more. Go figure. Im 45 min to the gwb on 80 west.

Fuck that, they should close that shit down for awhile. I hate the idea of closures but in this case people have no one to blame but themselves. But I know Tahoe relies on the tourism so probably would never happen.

This time around, instead of replacing the stereo...I'm adding bluetooth with one of these add-ons that interface with the OEM setup.

I agree, the problem is they are state parks and don't have any staff or trash cans and dumpsters. All the privet resorts like Camp Richardson, Round Hill Pins and Zephyr Cove resort managed better. It would be nice. There was a way to limit number people in the basen.
But like you said we rely on tourist dollars. If we didn't have them than I'd have to get a real job (as my mother says).

Swapped out the coolant temp sensor last week then flushed the coolant a few times.

    Sucker is pretty clogged.

That's awful. That topped here this year. Bad but not quite like that.
We have a three day, "Beach Cleanup Event," like it's some sort of wonderful community program post-July 4th, instead of calling it what it actually is..."Hey residents, come help clean up all the shit that the tourists leave behind since we're too afraid to impose/enforce stricter laws or close down parts of the beach because we want their money and for them to keep coming back."
Viscous cycle. The problem is each year more and more people seem to show up.

Feels fair all those businesses that depend on it should help with the cleanup. That’ll be the day.

Staying home, grilling brats and eating rhubarb pie is where it’s at anyway.

They do, at least some do. More to the point is that the beach has large city trashcans everywhere, including on the beach, right in the middle of the sand between the entrances and the ocean, across the entire oceanfront, and they put out extras on each block during holidays. People are just lazy and leave stuff where they sit instead of walking 50 or 100 feet or packing it out in a bag when they leave.

I don't leave on those days either haha. Some a/c, backyard grill and a porch and I'm good. I can watch the craziness like a tv show.
No fights on my street this year, just some parking tickets.

I almost drove over some fireworks someone just lit in the middle of a busy road. That could have been exciting!

This town sounds like a warzone on the fourth, it’s terrible. So many fireworks tents pop up.

I already ate half of one loaf! :anonymous:

Since I have another in the freezer, the second one is going to my neighbor when he gets home from work..

Buy some banana's and let them go brown - then you'll have to make :bananadance:bread!

This is 100% the problem. The Tahoe basen will put up with it because they bring a shit ton of cash with them.
We don't leave the house either, I have a front row view from my deck of the highway and it keeps us entertained all weekend.

When I was a kid I loved it. Now I'm old and grumpy lol. Really I just don't like em flying around the small streets and into yards / at cars. Everything else, go for it. (Except dunes, they're fire prone) Certainly wouldn't wanna drive over them haha.
