fabtech 3.5" lift questions

just finished installing the 3.5 on my 2wd pre. the fronts are at about 3 now and the front is higher than the rear i ordered replacement shackles that will add about 1.5" to the rear to correct this but why does the fronts extend higher than the rears .with the add a leaf i cannot see a way to adjust the rear any higher than the leaf allows. has any one else had this issue? am i doing the right thing by changing the shackles? any advice would be appreciated. thanks.

the fabtech lift spindles are for 5 lug trucks... not 6 lug prerunners...

ah, i'm sure your right. i forgot they made coilovers for the 6 lugs

OP: if the front coilovers are giving you 3" of lift then you have the coil compressed too much. the truck is going to ride like crap and your gonna have very little down travel on the suspension.

lower the preload down some this will solve front and rear leveling problem as well as improve ride quality and performance

 

hes talking about the coilovers. i used to run them. I bought the truck with them cranked as far up as the would go and an add a leaf also and the truck sat a little higher in the front. if you are looking for a level stance i would just crank them down instead of getting the shackles to lift the back more. the coilovers ride A LOT better when u let the tension out of the springs.

i will lower them a little and see but here are the pics. i also measured while i was out there i only have the fronts at 2.5

 

I have the same setup and the ride is kinda crappy. Very very veryyy stiff.

I personally dont have a problem with it, but most people who get into my truck are
always complaining lol.

Whenever I go off roading though, it does help the tire rubbing since im running 33's

 

When I sold mine to my buddy he cranked his down to only 2 inches of lift and his truck rode great. Cranking them down even the slightest bit really improves your ride a lot.
