Of course cost depends on the size of your garage. You can look at the RaceDeck site to get an idea. Like @BigJanko mentioned, they have an online designer where you can enter your garage floor size and pick and choose which tiles go where. Worked great for us and they ended up shipping extra tiles to boot.

If anyone's serious about it, join the Garage Journal Forum and connect with the RaceDeck rep for a really nice discount. They have excellent customer support BTW.

I've been thinking about doing something like this. Was thinking about doing the Kicker Key 200.4 and Kicker Key 500.1 along with some new speakers and a sub. I have not kept up anything so wasn't sure if there are any harnesses out there nowadays for 2020+ that I can just plug n' play into the Kicker amps without having to cut and splice.

I have a 2017 TRD access cab. I changed the 3rd brake light to a smoked lense with LED which is sold on Amazon as a 2nd Gen brake light.
Note, external screws are access cab only for 3rd Gen.

Well... it's almost embarrassing to admit... as a guy... that's the OE Toyota TRD exhaust that came on our Taco. It sounded good and I could hear it all of the time (didn't bother me, kinda liked it), but so could the wife. She did not appreciate it. She never gave me a bad time, but did mention it a couple of times. Sooooo, I thought I'd see what it'd sound like with a stock exhaust. I found a local guy that put a Borla cat-back on his almost new Taco and was selling the stock exhaust. Picked it up cheap and installed it the other day. Wife smiled when I started it up and has been complimentary ever since. Like I said earlier, happy wife...

I'll probably put the TRD exhaust on craigslist or FBMP. Cannot believe how stupid expensive they are from Toyota, in the $900 range. If I got half that it'd pay for the replacement and the Toyota black chrome exhaust tip I ordered. :D

Skar audios website says it’s a .60 cu. The JL sub suggests a .50 sealed enclosure… I figured with a slightly larger enclosure it might give me a little more low end with not as much power needed, if it still doesn’t sound good it shouldn’t be difficult to fill up some box volume.

the enclosure says it’ll be here Thursday, everything else is already hooked up so it shouldn’t take too long to install.

Took it to my buddies house. He welded on nut after nut but it eventually came out. Took a couple hours all in. I went ahead and anti seized other bolts while he did that. F having the same problem twice. That was literally the only seat bolt with any rust on it though! We chased the threads and I got a new anti seized bolt in there. ,

One of my skid plate bolts was snapped off too (bought it like that) so we took care of that too.

If you remove the chain and spare carrier, then relocate to the front with two of the OEM holes, then redrill the other two a 285/70 should fit much better back there.
There is a good post on it some on TW.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Was having a rough idle, so I cleaned my throttle plate. Truck has just over 70K miles, first time cleaning it.

The plate and rim were pretty black, but nice and shiny now. Can’t say the same for the rest of the motor.

Just followed the steps that Toyota car care nut guy put on the web. About 20 minutes in total.

I drove it for a half hour, and it definitely idled better. Will see how it is after a few days driving.

Do you run top tier gas or just whatever is available and at the right price. I always try and run Shell or Chevron. They are considered top tier that apparently use a higher quality detergent fuel. I don't know if that would maybe help long term. But yeah cleaning the throttle body is a great start. Maybe new plugs at 100K kms?

Only Chevron, nothing else. Ran 87 for a long time, but 89 for the last 6 months. Likes the 89 better.

When it started to run rough, I put in new plugs. That helped.

Recently ran 2 tanks of 94 octaone to clean it out. That helped.

Cleaned the MAF, helped at first but then back to rough idle.

After the short drive today, the idle was the most steady it has been over the past 6 months. So hopefully that sticks. Need a few days of driving before making any judgement.

No issues with performance, acceleration, etc.

I went Swisstrax Ribtrax Pro. Very happy with it and would do it again. Obsessed Garage has a Black Friday sale every year with free shipping. :gossip:

Looks like it was parked on the driving range at the local golf course. I'd do paintless dent removal (PDR) over a full re-spray...

Finally arrived after being on backorder for 6 weeks. Time will tell how long they hold up. Install was about an hour with only a 13mm socket. Judging by my little boy's reaction, worth it. 20230707_182904.jpg 20230707_182913.jpg
