    Many carpenters become allergic to oily woods , WRC is particularly bad . We are using kiln dried cedar in the house I am building right now , the dust is very fine and an irritant to the skin .

    The boards we are using are clear cedar , and will be clear coated , pine is not the look the client wanted .

    Not really , but sappy woods tend to create more creosote which is what builds up and causes a chimney fire , if you burn pine , you should clean your chimney more regularly .
