Just wait till you get it a 2nd time. My first was right at the beginning before tests but only knew i had it cause i lost my smell. Which they didnt announce as a symptom till later. My 2nd time i tested positive and every single inch of my body felt like it was on fire and every joint screamed when i tried to move. Only lasted a day tho. The shots seem to do fuck all

 

Thankfully, I haven’t lost smell or taste. The throat of fire is the biggest consistency. I’ve learned that ice cream, smoothies, etc are awesome remedies for relief. The aches are dying down but the headaches, ear aches are increasing. Sadly I can’t cook or determine what I’m eating (fam does the choices). Was happy for WonTon soup the other day!

 

Ya i just ordered delivery from places. Usually one giant meal a day so i wouldnt have to leave my room as much and expose my roommates

 

You need this. Thai Spicy Seafood Stew. Comes with basil and cilantro, lime and jalepeno. This'll cure anything.

You know what's really good? Potato chips.

You know what is not fun to prepare, cook, or clean up? ....

They weren't even that good.

Adding it to the list of things not worth it to make at home. Tofu, potato chips. For me, also brisket but that's because of my typical cooking crowd size (1). But objectively, potato chips and tofu - never again. Just buy them for a buck.

 

Bagels.

I've made plenty of bread (with the bread maker...) but I'll never try bagels again. Just buy the damn things.

 

Hmm. Interesting. Because I've had really good luck with bagels. Ah well, to each their own. Next time I'm buying a 2 dollar bag of chips and not thinking twice.

Thai, Vietnamese, and Korean soups are the bomb!
There’s an obscure seafood (plus crab fat) dish from Vietnamese that is unbelievable. It is hot, thick and yummy! Don’t know the name because it’s House Special At the place I occasionally get it (special trip).

Favorite Thai place doesn’t have it, but… does have favorite entree (other than Special Thai Shrimp)…

• Special Basil Seafood -
  Sauteed seafood (shrimp, scallop, calamari, mussels and wahoo) with green beans, squash, bell peppers, Thai herbs, in spicy basil sauce.

Props for the attempts. I will say, potatoe chips (for me) weren’t an add-on but a prime mission. When it’s more of a quality thing, it’s a bit easier. Using a deep fry w/basket helps a lot with reproducibility. I definitely agree there are many things I will simply pay for someone’s expertise on an occasional basis.
