    I researched a bit and said marble incorrectly because they're actually granite. Difference:notsure:
    But anyways I rented a place from a guy there and he mentioned something about ballast for sailing ships.
    Most answers say it was just plentiful in the North East and durable.

    Yeah, granite makes much more sense. All those cobblestones I wrote about were granite..

    A good chunk of Boston is built up wetland from the hills of surrounding areas. Maps from before and after are amazing from how much of it is fill.

    I really wonder why he just quit.

    I am curious if his house and store sold and the house he was looking at worked out.

    What he might be doing for work I would not want a hour commute each way.

    I recall The really talked about New Hampshire as the granite quarry state in the sixties . It was one of the few things shipped out from up there. That paid pretty good back in the day.

    Got in to a nice yard sale picked up a Nikon range finder for 10 bucks and was asking about his shop fan and he said 120 I asked if he’d take 120 for both and said sure71052608871__BB9B66EF-5348-42CD-9623-3DFB4FDBBBB6.jpg I jumped on that fan when he said the price
