Would have been the perfect time to do the FJ T-case swap!

 

I just did the diff breather mod, but I put the new breather in the storage bin above the wheel well.

 

Installed the honeycomb grill, I’ll have to repaint the surround for my next project

 

Got around to grinding off the one stripped bolt holding up the skid plate so I could get in front of the engine to swap the AC compressor clutch assembly - finally have working AC!
Here's the old clutch plate full of melted rubber or something...

Long, long overdue brake and disc replacement. It only has 200K miles on it so I should be good until 400K now.

And changed the oil...

 

Hauled over 3k pounds of junk from my grandmas house (slight hoarder, but not that bad), also mounted my Traction Boards back on the bedrails. Got tired of them sliding around in the bed

 

Not today but over 5 days. Wife and I took a 2k+ mile trip up to Washington state for life’s next chapter.





Truck load out worked out well for an access cab and not wanting to rig up a custom rear bed cover.

Is this your truck? If so, do you have a winch? I'm wondering what kind of room is back there for a winch and if the control box needs to be remotely mounted.

 

Head unit install and speaker replacement.

Custom tweeter mounts...Bought a $2 walmart cutting board, made templates....worked like a charm.

Oil and filter..
Topped off the weeping manual transmission
Topped off the Coolant
Added some brake fluid (light came on) first time that's ever happened...I didn't see anything leaking anywhere but my sticky parking brake cable means I have to back up and hit the brakes to get it to disengage sometimes...a lot of times...After 9 months my back ordered replacement cable finally arrived but...it's a real pain to replace

 

I had mine set to 30 mins and have def let it run close to that.

 

tweeters came with a plate and were small enough to just surface mount and not too much fuss. Kept the stock tweeter connector since it’s technically a jumper to the woofer.
