What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Yeah . I don't have a lift so I can't get good pics, but here goes..... We have really only had one snowy/salty winter since I got this truck..it's tough to say how much the mavcoat protects. Ill keep applying it yearly.



These pics are bad, but you get the idea.

 

I installed the TRD "Performance" Air Intake this afternoon. Is there a noticeable difference? Yes, it's red.

Engine bay is really clean

 

I cleaned it pretty thoroughly while I was in there.

 

I'll be watching for when you get it done. Was thinking of this myself but hesitant on pulling that dash apart.

 

Your undercarriage looks VERY good! Congratulations on keeping it in top condition. Enjoyed the pics. I live in Florida so I don't have the salt to deal with I'm going to take a picture of my undercarriage later this week. It's time for an inspection.

 

looks impressive and it dries without sticky residue.

 

Got the rock sliders on a few days ago and it was a process. Things didn't quite line up and the passenger side ended up being an inch or so farther forward than the drivers side. Still looks good though. I'm calling this the end of phase 1 for my truck modifications.

 

I'm happy with how it turned out. Really like that it's going to make oil changes a lot easier.

Yep.. I didn't even clean anything up under there. Just sprayed right over dust and dirt. It goes on as a transparent blue and dries like a wax. No mess. it collects minimal dust/dirt.

 

Are you in Canada? If you are would you mind sharing where you got Mavcoat ?

I bought it a while ago. I believe it was $20/can on Amazon. I use about 2/3 every year since I bought the truck. The year we got snow and salted roads I sprayed 2x mainly because I rinsed off the undercarriage after each snow storm.

Looks good! I did mine by myself (with some jacks to help hold them in place) and man did it suck lol. Worth it though.
