Well, I was trying to install my new supercharger today and the bottom bolt for the tensioner stripped. I spent a while using a thread case and cleaning the threads before trying to torque the bolt down. Temporarily I removed the washer and tried to get it tight but I don't think it will make it to torque spec. I just don't think a thread sert is possible due to the location and I'm scared to drill the block for fear of hitting an oil or coolant passage. My idea is to get a stud and jb weld it in there then use a nut to tighten it so it's still removable so I can change the belt.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Thread the stud in with JB weld on the threads that will be the strongest repair without a thread replacement.

There are many brands of epoxy I have not used JB weld in years.

That or try to put some welds on the stud as the bolt hole for the tensioner has some room I could maybe use to lay some weld.
