True, but just wanted to give Bob a heads up. I know he's been around the block longer than I have and might not need advice from someone younger than him, but hey, I figure it wouldn't hurt to say anything

The only reason I said that was because I had to use mine…. Couple times….didn’t change anything for me. A friend used hers once and they were dropped. They were different companies and ya never know who is gonna do what and sometimes nothing makes sense.

I’ve had Allstate since I started driving, and have been very satisfied with them. I’ve never had any issues with claims and after checking pricing with other companies they’re still very competitive and cheaper than most. I also like having a company with a local agent.

Does it all ever make sense?

Been with State Farm forever and they've treated me well. Rates are middle of the road, but coverage is good. They even let the body shop use an OEM hood/parts on my (at the time) 10 year old Tacoma when it got hit with hail damage.

That’s who I’ve had since I turned 16…. When I have price checked, no one could beat them. They have been very good to me over the years. When I dinged my truck last year (for the second time in a year:anonymous:) before I filed the claim, I asked how it would affect my rates. They told me that given the length of my years with them I am in a category that states they cannot drop or change my coverage as a thank you for my loyalty. Didn’t know this was a thing, but nothing changed after that so I’m still happy with them.
