I had a thread that I thought I saved and now cant seem to find. It was a thread about a click coming from the LCA when compressed. Like coming over the back side of a speed bump. The thread addressed improper bolts being the issue. Anyone familiar with this?

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
You gotta get down there and retorque everything common practice every 500 miles if your alignment it’s good, then mark everything so you have a set foundation.

the lca usually makes a click noise because the nut/bolts are loose. I had that happen. Just had to torque down those 2 nut/bolts that hold the LCA to the frame.

Swaybar bushing and or linkage will click if loose or worn.
Axle will click if it's going bad. Got a torn boot under there?
Brakes can also click going over bumps with loose or worn pins.
    That's all I have.

-Worn brake caliper pins drove me nuts on one of my sons car. You would go down the road and it sounded like something was slightly loose. A light knock type sound. After replacing (due to age), LCA bushings/ball joints/complete strut assembly w/springs, still had the noise. Read somewhere that someone else replaced caliper pins and noise went away. Replaced the pins in son's car and problem solved. When looking at the old pins, they only appeared to have slight wear on them, but I guess that's enough slop to cause a noise. Just my .02
