I immediately thought of head gaskets as well. I think there was a recall or special service campaign, so you might be able to see if they were replaced on the Toyota service portal. With very good maintenance, they could’ve nursed the defective gasket along until now, when they’ll finally give up. Not saying it’s likely, just a possibility. Ironically the 95-96 Tacomas also had head gasket issues.

I'm meeting the owner at 3 to finalize the sale. $10K is where we settled. Given the current market I'm pretty happy with the deal. Thanks guys.

That's what I would've wanted to pay for sure, but even $12k was a good price.

    Great snag!

Yeah, he was asking $12.5. After I did the test drive I asked him what he would be happy with. He said $10K and that is the exact figure I was going to throw out as a counter. I would feel like a real ass if I tried to go below that. So $10K it is. lol

That's a fantastic deal. You like the extra room. And as long as the suspension is good you will enjoy the ride.

Rear leafs where replaced in 2016 so the rear is pretty good. The front drives fine but we all know that doesn't matter since it's gonna get Fox or Kings reasonably quickly. lol

One of our vehicles is a 2009 4Runner so I'm pretty familiar with the interior. The only thing that needs to be done in the cab is swap out the stereo with something better.

Three of the guys I wheel with have 2nd gens. They've all gone through at least 2 versions of the builds so spare parts are laying around. Texts have been sent. lol

It was repainted in 2021 so it's pretty good right now. Living where I live that will change in the next few years. It's gonna be 107 on Friday. lol

I hope it doesn’t get overrun by Sprinter vans now like so much of the west.

Stephanie is considering one for herself ever since I got mine; 460 as well not 470 like I've got.

Hmmm. Fix… or electric conversion? One of these sounds way more fun.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
Completely random question… but what would a set of 4 265/70r17 Falken wildpeaks with 9/32 of tread left be worth? Dated late 2020… I don’t have a need for them anymore on any of the trucks…
