It's like I talked about in my video of why I bought the motorcycle that I did. Most of the people that buy these adventure bikes never even take them off road. Wish I had the skill and youth to do so but I don't, if I'm honest. I like them but I just don't want to own one. There's a guy where I work that has a plated xr650 that is only ridden on the street, beautiful machine, and to many it would seem a waste of a bike. But to each their own I guess.

Is that anything like a 2wd truck with a 4" spacer lift that stays in the garage when it's raining outside?

I'm kinda in that boat. I really only ride my little Rally back and forth to work and around town when it's nice out. I do have plans to go run the Big Frog Loop in Sept.....but getting offroad isn't the easiest thing to do for me.

My bike was bought so that I could take it camping with me.......I just enjoyed it so much I started riding it more :D

I know I could have gotten a small trail bike like the CRF250F, but I wanted something street legal just in case I needed it :D

Anyone know.. radiator cap on or off?

this is what im going to do: cap off, run bike to normal operating temp, shut off, cap back on, wait for full cool down, top off radiator and overflow reservoir, and then run bike to operating temp again. Shut off for the night

    Should be good?

Do any of you guys have experience with Dominator exhaust? They have a full exhaust for my little Rally for $400. I know it's a Polish company and from what I can find......good reviews. It just always helps to "know" someone with experience. I was able to find dyno numbers(nothing really worth writing home about 1HP/2TQ)

    The black is $480

Well this was a fail, I got this cup holder and made a bracket to bolt it to my milk crate but found out the screws I had weren't long enough. :(

This location will do for now, I'll get some longer screws later and bolt it to the crate.

Well I spent my day washing and ceramic coating the taco. I had enough left over to do the motorcycle so I did. Now I think I'll take a shower to wash the sweat off and go for an evening ride.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I got so many Baja designs rock lights left from projects, I’m thinking using 1 Amber one as a chase light so my riding buddy will stay out of my ass in the dust.
    Thoughts?
    Bad idea?
Too distracting…don’t want people fixating on it.

I've been diggin the Ducati Scramblers as I look at them online. Seem like a cool get around bike and could maybe do some longer rides. Any others in the category worth checking out? Sold my R1250GS. Didn't enjoy riding it as it was just so top heavy and big. It was an amazing bike, and such a smooth ride but was ready to move on.

I spent the day washing and ceramic coating my taco today, then went for a nice relaxing evening ride on the Bonneville, perfect weather. I really enjoy that bike.

Pics of what? I don't know if a pic of the clean taco would show the shine, lol.
But here's the Bonneville. It does have a windshield on it now.

just a couple of things tbh
Hey guys I’ll be headed to Colorado with the bike here in two months so couple questions.

for those that have owned a drz with the jd Jett kit how did it perform in Colorado if you rode it their?

also should I get new dirt tires before going? Mine still have some meat left but not a lot.. the trails we will be on will be easy so a group of tercel wagons can go down it so It won’t be hard
