    A little more trivia, the highest elevation in OK is Black Mesa in the OK panhandle at 4,973'. It's pretty surprising to see the seemingly endless acres of corn when you are driving across the panhandle. We almost always take hwy 412 through the panhandle instead of I40 to go west to the northern NM and southern CO areas.

After movie, we came back home, packed sandwiches and the pups, and drove the loop up north of Palmer thru Hatcher's Pass to Willow and down to Wasilla and back home to Palmer.
